GPL Licensing Software
The challenge states that the code must be released as MIT or equivalent. What are equivalent licenses? For example, GPL is often not considered equivalent due to its viral nature.

Great question! You may be able to use an Apache license as an equivalent, but I'll get back to you soon. In the meantime, I suggest looking into the MIT license as it is stated.

Hi Syed,
I received some feedback that MIT is how community contributions to EOSIO are licensed in, and it is how Block.one license out EOSIO. Therefore, there is merit in keeping consistent with this pattern. However, please note that per the rules, "The Potential Winner (as defined in section 6.B above) shall make its Application’s source code publicly available under the MIT License" so this rule applies to potential winners.
